UKJFF: Closing Night Gala: The Last Concert

UK Premiere

A thrilling cat-and-mouse psychological drama from legendary director, Alexandre Arcady, who won Best Film at the 2024 UK Jewish Film Festival with Once Upon a Time in Algeria. Renowned but tyrannical classical composer, Alexandre Miller (Benoît Poelvoorde), performs a farewell concert at the iconic Opéra-Comique in Paris, before he leaves to take over the Berlin Philharmonic. After the performance, a man named Dinkel (Kad Merad) arrives. He claims to be a super-fan of Miller, and insists on a private audience with his hero. As Dinkel relentlessly pursues Miller through the labyrinthine corridors of the opera house, dark secrets from their past begin to emerge.
