RFF 2022: Unidentified

A small city in Northern Romania. Despite growing debts and an entangled personal life, Florin Ispas - a police detective - is determined to solve a hard case no one seems to care about.

An unsolved case. An unknown criminal. An obsessed cop. His investigation plunges him into a world of darkness and violence, pulling everyone around him into a web of destructive passion and revenge.

Under the appearance of a sharp, tightly woven detective movie, the film is a story that speaks on issues in the police system, power abuse, sexism, masculinity and prejudice. ||| Followed by Q&A with director Bogdan George Apetri
