RFF 2026: 3 Days in September

On the eve of their wedding at a Black Sea resort, Bianca (Andreea Vasile) and Victor (Emilian Oprea) are going over the final details. By the following evening the families are celebrating in the hotel garden until a stranger turns up at the bridal suite with news about Victor that changes everything.

Filmed in one continuous 65-minute shot, Giurgiu’s film veers between romantic comedy and something much darker, with bone-dry humour. At its centre is Andreea Vasile, who takes the bride from disbelief and fury to grief and, finally, something like freedom in a performance that never lets the camera, or the audience, catch its breath.

Followed by a Q&A with director Tudor Giurgiu & actor Andreea Vasile
