OPENING NIGHT – UK PREMIERE
Marius Călimănescu (Adrian Văncică) is a widowed surgeon and a respected figure in his small Romanian town. His world comes crashing down following the murder of a Roma man. Methodically, Șerban builds a precise, deeply disturbing study of masculinity and privilege forcing us to ask what we would do in his shoes.
Followed by a Q&A with director Florin Șerban.
